Not sure what to say?

Dear Pops, There have been countless days since you left this earth when I´ve thought of you and felt your presence in spirit. Even though so many years have passed, the memories of you-and the space your powerful presence once filled-remain vivid. I often wonder how different life might have been if you had been here longer, how much richer and fuller it would feel to share more time and more memories with you, to have you experienced life´s milestones. Dear Sylvia and the family

I worked with Mr.Gilley at Washington Group and I only have found memories of him. He always seemed to be so up beat and a smile on his face. My fondest memory is that 26 years ago he took time out of his busy schedule to come to our tiny wedding of 12 guests.

I have added his obit to my Scrapbook of God's Angels.

It was my pleasure to have known him.

Your family is in my thoughts. Joan Lowder

Dear Sylvia, there are so many memories of you and Jim that flood my mind. My heart goes out to you at this sad time. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Miriam

What great memories of Jim (and of Sylvia) at Wake Forest College in the 1950's. We wish the famiy well at this time of sadness. Jim: See you on the other side before too long. With affection.

To Sylvia, et al... "For the good times..." We will never forget the generosity of the Messick/Gilley families. May God bring you peace and comfort in the days ahead.

To the Gilley family and friends:
Jim Gilley is very sorely missed already. He was not only my boss, but a true friend. He was such a successful business-man, and everyone here at the office respects and admires him greatly. He has been a huge influence on my life, as well as many others'. We will always cherish having known Mr. Gilley, and his family. You are all in my thoughts.
