James A. Gilligan

Jimmy was a close childhood friend of mine in Hoboken. We pretty much grew up together, spending afternoons after school playing touch-football, or finding other ways to get into and out of mischief. We had plenty of company and a rich mix of personalities to interact with. Jimmy was the aristocrat, Robert the sophisticate, Matty the Pope, Joe the musician (and practical jokester), Steve the professor and I was the lucky friend of these guys and others we hung around with. Was saddened to hear of jims passing and not knowing about it. My thoughts go out to his family. He was a good neighbor and was always offered to help me out with stuff at the house when noone was around. He did great job keeping up his yard and gardening. Will miss seeing him and getting the scoop on my tenants..) RIP JIM.
