JAMES KIYOSHI "JIM" GIMA

We called eachother Jim and Johnny and played golf together at Willowick for many years. Jim taught me so much about golf and life, he was a treasure. He shared about his experience at the interment camp as a young boy and I got to see that horrible place in person. We won a tournament together in Laughlin and I should have been with him on his last solo trip out there. I know he is now in a better place, playing his ukulele for all the other angels. Miss you Jim.

To Jim's loved ones. I met Jim out on the Willowick golf course in Santa Ana about 6 years ago. He subsequently invited me to join him in Laughlin a few times as well. We won a tournament together there. I could not afford to go with him on his last trip and I will always regret that fact. His two kids are about my age and I looked up to Jim in a parental way. He offered me advice about my own 8 year old son. Because I know Europe, I tried to talk him into visiting his son in Paris. I think...

To the Family of James "Jim" Gima: I hope the memories of Jim will sustain all of you during this difficult time. I will cherish the memories of working with Jim in Appeals, carpooling, and chatting about our children growing up. When our paths crossed after his retirement, Jim would say "There is life after working for the IRS"....GOLF!! Hugs to all of you.

Jim and I worked together for many years at the IRS and after we both retired we jointly worked together as CPA's. My condolences to the family. Jim was a great guy and will be missed.
