Not sure what to say?

We went to school together for radiology. I remember teaching him how to start IV´s on myself. Haha. He put the IV in my vein and all went well. Then I started bleeding everywhere. I asked Jim what he was going to do. Haha. He did it know. I let it bleed for a while so it was a mess. Jim was laughing. So was I. Good memories. For those short few years Jim and I became really good friends. I miss him. He made the world a better place.

All my thoughts are with you both and pray for you as you grieve this terrrible tragedy. No words can help just know I feel for you and care. Praying for help as you deal with your pain and loss of your son and your daughter. It is just unbelievable. Your friend always John

I went to school with Jim way back from Pinewood Elementary all the way until he graduated a year before me. Although I haven't seen him a lot in the past few years, we had a lot of good times. Jim was an awesome person. There really is no other way to say it other than he will be missed.

Jim was a very close friend. One of the things I remember most about him was he did what he said he would do, and didn't say he would do something when he couldn't. There are few people in this world whose word you can depend on, and now it is one more short. Forever in our memories: Jim Givens. Miss you!

I worked with Jim for a short while at Hackley Hospital. He always made his presence known and made sure he had you laughing. He truly cared about the people around him and it showed in his friendships. You will forever be in our thoughts!!!
See ya later!!!

This tradgedy comes as an enormous shock. Jim was a very dear friend, and always brought a smile when we saw him. Unfortunatly he only recently became acquainted with my wife, but his stunning personality won her friendship immediately.

I will miss Jim very, very much. I've no other poetic or fancy way to state it.

Our utmost sympathies are extended to his parents and extended family alike.

I knew Jim towards the end of his working career at Hackley. I remember him telling all of us in the XRay Dept that he was going off to Hawaii for a new job. He was so very excited as were all of us for him. This world just lost a very good human being...Jim was cheerful and always looking for the good in things. Jim, you're in a better place now and will be missed by all!
Your friend---Tone
