Not sure what to say?

Dear Beverly and family,
Linda, Jim and I send our love to all of you at this time. Uncle Vernon was an incredible influence to each of us as we were growing up. He was so fun and so loving. Some of the pictures we have of our childhood are treasures and they were taken by him. I, personally, remember staying at your house. He was always so accepting and loving. He will be missed.

May the Lord bless you all at this time with peace and comfort. May the memories bring you...

Dear Aunt Beverly, I wanted to come to the funeral and could not make the necessary arrangements, but I thought of you today as I did my usual Saturday service in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and I put your name on the prayer roll. I send deepest condolances and love to you and your family and pray that you find comfort and peace as you continue in faith day-by-day. I have good memories of you and Uncle Vernon. Love, Donna Deane

Dear Aunt Beverly, our condolences to you and your family members. Uncle Vernon was always kind to us and took the time to draw us out at the annual Butterworth 4th of July picnics. He left behind a very large family who will love and support you during your difficult days.

Dennis,
My deepest sympathies to you and your entire family at the loss of your father. May the spirit assuage your grief and whisper deep in your soul assuring you of the truthfulness of the great plan of salvation. Quoting a song from our generation "...preserve your memories, they're all that's left you.."
My prayers are with you.

Vernon was very good friends with my grandparents Bud and Jeanne Walker. I have known Vernon all of my life. He was one of the most kind, upbeat and genuine men I have ever known. I have fond memories of him when I was a child and as I grew older. He was always loving and kind to me and my sister. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. May you find peace and comfort. Deepest Sympathy for your loss.

Our condolences to Beverly and Family! A grand day of Graduation has come and there are few that are better prepared than was Vern! He loved and gave freely to all with whom he associated. We will miss him but those who have been awaiting him will gain greatly! Our love to you as family and friends goes on and on. Bruce & Elaine Woodruff

We will miss our wonderful visits with Vernon. I would add a few things to the list of Vernon's endearing obsessions: violin and fiddle music, organ music, weekly breakfast at the diner with friends, and a good cowboy story. Thanks for your wonderful example and friendship!
