MY SYMPATHY GOES OUT TO ALL OF HIS FAMILY, I HAVE KNOWN J.D. SINCE BEFORE LAKEVIEW AND J.D. WAS ONE OF A KIND!!! EVERYTIME I SEEN HIM HE SAID "GIVE ME SOME LOVE" AND ALWAYS HANDED OUT A HUG NO MATTER WHERE YOU WERE, WHETHER IT WAS THE PIZZA FACTORY, STARSHIP OR THE DECATUR CELEBRATION, HE WAS A LOVING WARM PERSON AND HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. GOD SPEED MY FRIEND.......

I did not know JD personally. I am Cody and Angel's reading teacher at Maroa Grade School. From the time I met them, they displayed acts of kindness, compassion, respectfulness, and humor. They are both fun-loving and a joy to know. If this is a reflection of JD, then he was definately a special man to raise such special children. May God look over them and guide them through their journey here on Earth as He did JD. My condolences to Cody, Angel, and family.

I just wanted to express my sympathy to you and your family. When we lived on 33rd st all those years ago, JD was the "cool teenager" I'm sure as little kids we were just in the way but he always had time to say hi and look at our cool rocks and stuff!.....Do you guys remember when he painted our faces like KISS for Halloween one year?
He was a blessing to all of you, to his friends and his wife and children and I will remember all of you in my prayers. God Bless, Sabrina

J.D was like a brother to us,we will miss him so much,we have dedicated this ball year for JD, he was a very good ball player,you wont know how much it meant to us to have JD come out watch us play softball when he wasnt feeling good,that tells you he loved sports,he will always be in our hearts forever,from now on the team will be JD gang,i will miss him,but as JD would say dont cry just remember the good ol days,his favoite words were whaaaaaats uuuuuup dog, will see ya again soon brother...
