Not sure what to say?

His presence is missed so often and there aren't enough kind words to say about Jimmy. His special way of showing his "win-win" attitude is sorely missed! He communicated so well and always had an inclusiveness nature which resonated throughout his family of dealers. No doubt, as dealer weekend approaches; quite a few folks will be thinking about Jimmy, and missing him dearly.

I was so saddened to read of Jimmie's passing. He was such a kind man and so helpful to us when we moved our Lancer Arabians Farm to Ocala. We met him at Sun Bank and he made us feel so welcome. His kindess will never be forgotten. Godspeed.

Jimmie was a big help to my wife and I when we started our dairy in Anthony. I remember the day I walked in to his Sun Bank office with a Seminole hat on and he asked me why I was wearing that hat. Being new to Florida, I wondered why he asked me that. I quickly learned why. He always went out of his way to help us, and keep our operation on an even keel. God bless his soul and his family.

Mrs. Mary and Family:

Jimmie and our family became acquainted through Seminole Feed (we owned Volusia Feed). In our time spent together over the years at Dealer's weekends, Quail hunting at Indianola, and the times where he would stop by for a sales call (so that we could eat at Aunt Catfish's), I heard a thousand Jimmie stories and most involved ya'll. I don't need to tell you that he loved ya'll second only to his Lord, Jesus Christ.

What a mentor for me; to realize that...

I was priviledged to be in Kiwanis with Jimmie. I will never forget his excitement about the youth fair and then auctioning off the beef at fun and outrageous prices. His train hobby was fun to look at and hear about. And his passion for God's redemptive work to be done on earth was inspiring. I will miss Jimmie, and know each of you will as well. However, I know I will see him again. Though the next time he will not have any illness or pain.

Jimmie was a VERY special man whose integrity and honor was incredibly above and beyond. He was a caring and loving man who will be very much missed. It is an immensely sad loss for alot of folks. God Bless You Jimmie!

Mary, I am so sorry to read about lose. I did not know him as well as you. Remember our Cub Scout Days? I remember coming by your home across from Highland's ball field and you had all those little children you kept. I will pray for you.

Mr. Glisson was a special friend to our family throughout the years we were in 4-H. I remember him spending countless hours training teams(vegetables and soils) so that we would be prepared for the upcoming contests. One of my best memories of him was his love for trains. He would park in our driveway in his VW Beetle and wait for a train to come by so he could watch. He was a true inspiration for many youth and he definitely had an impact on my life as he did many others.

I worked with Jimmie in the late 80's and early 90's at Seminole Stores. He was a good man and will be missed by a lot of people.
