Not sure what to say?

I found out this evening that Mr. Golba had passed away.

It’s difficult for me to write something fitting in honor of a teacher who has really affected me and my life. I feel a tremendous amount of guilt for not thanking him again for being my teacher. I took for granted that someday I would run into him when I was visiting home and I would hug him and say: “I am a chemical engineer because of the chemistry I learned from you in class and on the Academic Games team. You were...

Mr. Golba was a dedicated and tireless teacher who set high standards for all of his students. In an age when some teachers take the path of least resistance by designing tests that do not require students to put much time or energy into their studies and thus not learn much, Mr. Golba refused to lower the bar. He had high expectations and gave challenging exams, but my friends and I always felt a sense of accomplishment and pride in our tests, papers, and lab reports for his classes...

To Beth and the entire Golba family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Beth let me know if you need anything or just someone to talk to you know im always here .

I will always remember fondly the Chem 2 field trips to Crispell Lake (and of course the pizza lunches Mr. Golba provided). My condolences to the Golbas.

Professor Golba and his family:
Thank you for taking the extra time to help an older student understand Chemistry enough to make his goals come to pass. Mrs. Golba, Beth and Kim, please except my deepest condolences on your loss. Your husband and father, took a 49 year old thru a JCC Semister of Chemistry, made it understandable enough for him to pass it, then with encouragements from your husband and father, to pass, Mortuary Science College in Chicago, IL. and to pass the National and...

I've always remembered Mr. Golba and his many warm-hearted attempts to teach me chemistry at Napoleon. He often stayed after school to help me and went way above and beyond for his students.

My condolences to the Golba family.

My deepest sympathy to the Golba family. Mr. Golba was more than a teacher and employer he was a great friend. I have many fond memories sewing in the basement and playing video games. He always had a cheerful smile!

As friends of Kim and Jeff, we would like to send our deepest sympathy and regrets to the entire family. We are so sorry to hear about Mr. Golba.
Sincerely,
Greg and Heather Smothers

Mr. Golba was one of the teachers who had a deep impact on my life. He was a mentor and a friend. It is with great sorrow that I must extend my condolences to the family. My prayers are with you during this difficult time. He has left a great legacy behind in his family and in the lives of all of the students that he has touched. He will be greatly missed, but always greatly admired.
