Not sure what to say?

Jim was my first boss out of college and we worked for the food service division of the Cleveland Society for the Blind in 1974-1975. He was very kind and patient and I always will remember what a wonderful voice he had. I saw him again in 1978 when out graduate class from Kent State visited my old work place. I was so sorry to hear of his loss and wanted his family to know how much he was appreciated at work. I went on to work over 30 years with people with disabilities and I owe a lot to...

Your loved one is not gone, he has passed on to become memories. He will be with you, until you reunite✝ Prayers for comfort are with you.

Dear Jim - how much fun I had at the Hermit Club with you! And all your help with Mom's big memorial rock, and the statue at the Hermit Club......you made things happen. You'll always be on the stage as far as I'm concerned - we've lost a very nice, talented man and another Hermit has gone beyond the Great Divide. Keep them on their toes up there, Jim. I'll miss you.

Although I only met Jim Goodwin last year, I remember the afternoon well. A very gracious and charming gentleman he was! Such a beautiful video of a loving family, and it appears Jim only got more handsome with age. God bless the Goodwin family..... you have many wonderful memories to share for years to come. Geri Hatina

I'll always hold a special memory of Jim's kindness towards my husband Ed as he was struggling with his final journey; Jim certainly "walked the walk". Glad we also have so many professional photos taken at The Hermit Club by Jim. Nicki Henry

Michelle and the Goodwin family, we are so very sorry for your loss. Your dad was a wonderful and familiar face to our family. At all the family functions he was always at the head of the table just where he belonged. It is so difficult to lose a parent, always remember how much he loved all of you. When you see a butterfly that will be your dad letting you know he is doing okay and watching over you everyday. Love you all. Renee and Stan

No words can convey the sympathy I wish to extend, they fall short. May God comfort and carry each of you during this season.

Our deepest sympathies. We enjoyed knowing Jim through the Hermit Club. Such a talent but we will remember him most as an exceptionally kind man.
