Not sure what to say?

Jim was one of the kindest and most thoughtful men I´ve ever had the pleasure to know. My condolences go out to Betsy and his children. I know he has earned hits seat as a good and faithful servant.

we are so very sorry for your loss. Our family will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.

I will miss that gravelly voice and that winsome smile. Jim was a role model for many of us.

I am so grateful for the time I got to spend hearing Jim share his experience, strength, and hope. I credit him with one of the most important lessons I have ever learned-I have to act my way into right thinking; I cannot think my way into right action. I quote him all the time. Most importantly, he has remained a steadfast cheerleader for me and countless others over the years. His wisdom, commitment, and love for his friends will be missed.

I´ll Miss you.

Jim will forever be a member of the long thin gray line of The Citadel Class of 1969, the greatest class the school has ever produced. The band of brothers salutes you and looks forward to the time when we can all be together once again.

As a friend of Bill W, Betsy, both Peggy and I send you our best. So many wonders of recovery we all got to experience over the years. Jim had an impact on mine and I am grateful. With sympathy, Dave Anderson
