Dear Liz and family, I was deeply saddened to hear of Lindsay's passing. I first met Lindsay in 1987 and over the years I had the pleasure of working with him on multiple occasions. Even after we both retired we stayed in touch and it was always a joy to get together whenever he visited Toronto. Lindsay was, in every sense, a rare gentleman and true class act. I will always remember our last meeting this past June , sharing breakfast together in Toronto. I could sense his pain then, but...

Liz and Family - on behalf of Maureen and our family, I just wanted to say what a beautiful celebration it was on Tuesday, and to have the opportunity to see your wonderful clan as well as dear friends, many of whom we share; to reflect and share the joy of having known our dear Lindsay. His legacy was on full display. All our love, the Spitz Family

Liz - I will hold you and your Family in The Light on Tuesday as you celebrate Lindsay's amazing life. Eileen Simons (Toronto)

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Lindsay while he was Chancellor of UBC. He chaired the search committee for Santa Ono and was an incredible leader. He will be missed by many. My sincere condolences to Liz and his children.

Sincere condolences to Liz and the Gordon family. I was privileged to know Lindsay for over 30 years and was able to see him as a husband, father, grandfather, successful businessman, community leader, ski buddy, mentor and friend. He will be missed.

I am grateful to have had the chance to meet Lindsay and you, Liz, at the UBC alumni awards event in November 2023. I was inspired by your shared passion and by how you´ve worked so hard doing good in the world together. I was struck by the beauty of your relationship and the way your care for one another spilled over into those around you. I pray that you and your family will have the kinds of support and space you need in this time of grieving.

Our sincere condolences to Liz and the entire Gordon family. It was a great privilege to work with Lindsay - he was a man of great integrity. He believed in supporting the community and had a wonderful, insightful, thoughtful international perspective. He will be missed dearly as a friend, community member and business leader. Thinking of you Liz and all the family. Tracy and George Redies
