James Grabarek

I met Jim through Cindy around 2003 when she talked him into renting me his downstairs apartment. I was there for about 2 years. Jim and I became friends. We hiked, walked our dogs, and spent many hours sitting on the dock or in his boat out on the lake. Jim and I helped each other through some difficult times. His property was one of the most beautiful places I ever lived and being there helped heal some deep wounds. We fell out of touch when I moved to California in 2007. I don't know...

My parents ( Al and Carol Brancato) and our family were good friends of Jim and his family. So many happy times, picnics and fishing. My elderly dad and mom went fishing with him at his lake. I had a nice conversation with him and talked about old times in the summer. He always was a fun loving, great human being. I imagine him in heaven catching the biggest fish with my dad.
