I've known "Big Jim" for many years, since we both are members of UA Local 246.
After the Union built the Union Offices and Apprenticeship School and I had an office to work out of, I got to know "Big Jim" even better.
Once a month he would come into the office. It was alway at 12:05 (lunch hour). He would come in with that big smile and the first thing he would say was, "I forgot the union office is closed...
