This has truely been a sad start to 2006. Losing 1 family member is hard enough, but losing 3 in the span of months is really tough. I must be honest, I did not know my uncle Jim as well as I would have like to. I have, however, got a chance to know him better over the past few years. He has stopped by my parents house for dinner a few times after his heart surgery. And i really enjoyed his stories about playing sports and talking Phils with him. I am so sad to hear of Jim's passing so soon after Aunt Mary Graul and Vince.
I vividly recall attending Jim's wedding and the reception about 50 years ago, then later visiting with Jim and family at their house in Roslyn in the early '70s.
I'll miss you Jim..
