Not sure what to say?

To Sister Gray and Bret, i was stunned when I heard the news. I want you both to know that I love Rev. James Jacob Gray like he was my father and I will never forget the impact that he had on my life. It is because of him that I am who I am today a strong woman of God. I want to take this time to say thank you for sharing him not only with me but the church congregation as a whole. it was his obedience to God and your selflessness that allowed God to use him and gave him the ability to walk...

Rev. Elaine Gray and Family
You have my love, empathy and prayers. Rev. James Gray's daily walk demonstrated his strong faith in God. His legacy is a true testament of love and faith knowing "Only What You Do For Christ Will Last. God Bless you all.

I came to Church the Sunday, after I heard the news. I was not very strong, eventhough he preached of a great home going service. I have always wanted him to be proud of me as a single parent raising my twin daughters alone and in a christian way. Our lives are much better because of his teaching from the one true word. The twins and I started attending Providence when they were 3 months old, now they are 22 years old, richly blessed because of the teachings of Dr. James J. Gray. He...

I have never met Dr. Gray personally, but I have certainly met him through his parishioners, Minister Wayne and Sister Desiree Ross. As they shared various stories with me, it was so refreshing and inspiring to hear about a true man of God on the front line in the Lord's army. Pastor Gray too has blessed me. Certainly, his ministry for Christ has left an eternal mark on our lives.

MRS. GRAY & FAMILY, I PRAY THAT GOD STRENGTHENS YOU DAILY. I KNOW THAT REV. GRAY IS IN A BETTER PLACE, WORDS CAN NOT EXPRESS WHAT PASTOR GRAY MEANT TO ME AND MY MOTHER. HE WAS MORE THAN A PASTOR...HE WAS A FRIEND, A GRANDFATHER. HE WAS THERE LOVING AND CARING FOR MY MOTHER AND I EVER SINCE I WAS BORN. HE ALWAYS HAD THAT SPECIAL WAY OF LETTING MY MOM KNOW THAT EVERTHING WAS GOING TO WORK OUT FINE. REV. GRAY WILL BE MISSED DEARLY, BUT YOU HANG IN THERE MRS. GRAY BECAUSE "JOY COMETH IN THE...

He really was a blessing to me and my famliy. We are really going to miss him. My prayers are with you Mrs. Gray, I love you.

INTEGRITY!!!!!!!
This is the one word that I always use to describe My Pastor. He taught me so much about living and loving as Jesus would have us to live and love. I thank God for loaning Pastor to Providence for a little while and for putting the character in him that truly exemplified a "Man of God". Sis. Gray, you were as much a gift to him as he was to you. You shared him so unselfishly and allowed so many of us to become like family. Only an anointed and appointed woman of God...

God understands your sorrow and he will stand beside you through the hurting and the healing, With deepest sympathy and Love. The Fitzgerald Family

Prescious in the site of the Lord is the death of one of his saints. To Sis. Gray and the entire Providence Baptist Church Family, We've been there with the lost of a great leader.
