Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to Jimmy's entire family. First met Jim at the YMCA in JC, did the camps together. Then met again at Prep where Jim played reciever and I the QB. then hadn't seen in many years until Jim was umpiring a baseball game where my son was playing, Jim recognized the Dispoto name and I drove up to say hello in Bergen County. My condolences once again.

Memories of James Greer are from ECSU days. He wore a beautiful smile with a pleasant disposition. As a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. I recall us doing service to mankind projects with Groove Phi Groove which James was a part of. I can see the plot where he and his brothers would hang out laughing, talking and watching freshman walk into Bias Hall.

What a great man!!!! We had some good times at ECSU...and because of them, I will never forget you!!! Praying the Greer Family find the courage needed to endure this difficult time!!!!
VIKING PRIDE FOREVER!!!

I was friends with Jim back at Prep. He was a talented, bright and proud young man. I liked Jim very much. He was always very kind to me and interesting to be around in school. I will miss him.

May the peace of God be upon the Greer family and friends.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of James Greer. May God keep you in perfect peace as you celebrate the life of James, a well liked fellow Viking of Elizabeth City State University.

Dear Shonda

My deepest condolences & sympathies on your loss of James. I knew since he was 15 and he was a good man who was well liked in the community. He served his community well at JCETP an as an Umpire in baseball. He was blessed with you and I pray for your strength and the strength of your family in the days to come.

Much love

Sincerest condolences to Greer family. James was my classmate at PS#38 and my first school girl crush, especially after he broke his arm! We used to laugh about it when we'd run into each other in Jersey City. So many fond memories. Rest in Heavenly Peace, James.
