Not sure what to say?

Carol - we can not express how sorry we are to hear of Jim's passing. We will fondly remember him. You are in our thoughts and hearts. Love

Carol,

I was saddened to hear of Jim's passing. I have many fond memories of Jim from time spent at the Romeo Post and Traverse City as well. Please accept our heart felt condolences.

Jim and Judy Tyler

We are so sorry to hear about Jim. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sgt. Jim was my first desk sergeant I met when I came out of the 92nd Recruit school and was assigned to Romeo in February of 1978. Jim typified the excellent character, integrity, and courage of what everyone expects of a State Police Officer. I'll always remember his winning smile and great sense of humor. "Griff" helped shape everyone he touched into being a better person and a better police officer.

Jim was a wonderful man and a very dear friend. He will be deeply missed. Carol, our heartfelt thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
Sincerely,

Carol and family may God be with you during this difficult time. Jim was a great guy and classmate of the Litchfield class of 1960.

Thank goodness to the storm that went through Ionia that led us to a great friendship. We will miss his humor, his hugs and his smiles. Prayers to Carol and the family.
