James Griffiths

The Western Reserve Colony, Society of Mayflower Descendants in the State of Ohio, wishes to extend our sympathy to the family of James Parker Griffiths. We will donate a reference book to the Special Collections Division, Akron-Summit County Public Library in his memory.

He was one of the most amazing people I've had the privilege to know. The world has lost someone truly great!

I feel lucky to have had James in my life, to have his son, and to have been able to care for him. When asked what his "life philosophy" was he responded "to leave the world a little bit better," which he did. For others I can't say, but for me he has made my world a whole lot better. I dream of the day we'll meet again, but until then I will honor him by being a super mom raising our son to be a gentleman, like his daddy.

Our family remembers the Griffiths family from Troop 14. We are very sad to hear of James' passing and send the family our sincere condolences.
