Not sure what to say?

Aunt Bobbie and uncle Dub were the first Christians I ever knew as Christians when I was 15-years-old. I didn't know what a Christian was, I think Cathy tried to explained it to me. Slowly over the years I observed that these two people were very different from anyone I had ever known. I remember Uncle Dub stepping outside our grandmothers house and asking some kids who were walking down the dirt road and using bad language to stop, because his children and wife were in hearing distance.

So sorry to hear about Bro. Grooms death but just as we lost Marilyn to cancer 6 yrs. ago, it's so assuring to know we will see them again and that's what keeps me going. Keep your mind on the future and remember the wonderful memories you have with him and as the song says, "LIFT UP YOUR HEAD, REDEMPTION DRAWITH NIGH"! It won't be long before we all will be with our loved ones. PRAISE GOD FOR THAT PROMISE!!!!

Papa was one GREAT man. I miss him more everyday and it hurts me the most that he can't be around to see my baby, his first great grand, grow up but I know he would be proud of her and of the Mommy I am. I am glad that before God decided to take him home to be with him that he got to hear Haven say "Pa-Pa" and what a huge smile that brought to his face. Granny- I am here for you always...Justin and I both are and we love you so much. Aunt Karen, Aunt Carol, and Uncle Jimmy- We are here for...

My fondest memories are that of growing up with the Grooms family in Beaufort,SC. When Bro. Grooms owned his own electric company, I would often work for him. One day he asked me to pull an electrical wire through the wall that was still hot! When I yelled that I was shocked, he said I was just poked by the wire.So Bro. Grooms grabs the wire, and he also receives the shock of his life! I never laughed so hard when I saw him turn loose of that live wire. My mother, Sadie, accused him of trying...

We are all very sorry for the loss of Mr. Grooms. He had a way of twisting me up and keeping me on my toes when was was around him. He would tease people and then make then laugh at themselves afterwards. He was a strong Christian and a very fine man.

Wow, there is so much that I could say about this GREAT man. He was my Papa, friend, and Hero! I will never forget all the things that my Papa taught me or the memories that we shared. I still can look back and remember that time that him and my cousin Chase chased me down the hall with this metal Queen's head that Papa got from overseas. Papa told me that it had a real Queen's head inside of it, and to put my hand inside and feel the brains. So I ran down the hall and shut myself up in a...

My Daddy was a dedicated, loving, but strict dad. He taught us true values and wonderful work ethics. He is one of a kind and will be greatly missed. I love him so very much and will miss him more than anyone could ever imagine. My best friend, my daddy, my hero! I love you Daddy - one day we will meet again!
