Not sure what to say?

I will never forget the welcoming friendship and hospitality of Jim welcoming a brand new young radiologist to his hospital, to his town and to his tennis group! Sandra and I will never forget the kindness and friendship of Jim and Patty Gunn.

Jim Gunn was full of life. I will always remember his love and joy and humor.
As anyone who knew him probably knew: Anytime you spoke with him, in that moment, he made you feel as if you were the most important person in the world. And that was likely true. But he also carried that same grace with him as a doctor. In a frightening time for my mother and I, when my father was virtually on his death bed riddled with cancer; we consulted with Doctor Gunn on what his latest x-rays showed. ...

Dr. Gunn was a truly amazing man. I had the pleasure of working for him during high school. I learned much from that time. How to work with different woods, how to use epoxy and various tools and how to always think things through to find a solution. By far my favorite times with him were flying. His love and joy of flying was so great and pure that you couldn't help but love it to. You'll be missed Dr. Gunn. Thank for some wonderful memories and lessons.

Prayers to all family. He was a wonderful man & know he will be missed by all,

I cannot be more thankful to to Gunn's for taking me into their fold .I write this note with tears in my eyes . For the Doctor was a great mentor to me and the closest friend of my family . In my earliest memories I have I would be at the Gunn's house , shooting B.B. guns , playing in the swamp , waiting for Tom to finish mowing the lawn so we could play later . The Doctor would make me take out the trash , keeping me busy basically useful. He was gracious enough to take me to the ski races...

My deepest condolences to the family.

At Horton Bay Jim Gunn was a fixture to be sure!! Always there with a ready smile and inquiry as to "how are you, how is Terry, how are the boys?". I think of the meetings and picnics, dinners and the crazy auctions we had with all manner of castoffs and urgings to buy things we didn't need or really didn't want! Jim was a real presence at all events ..... a wonderfully engaging gentleman.

I am saddened for Patti and the very close family and send my sincere wishes for comfort in...
