Jo and family, We are so sad to hear of Jim´s passing. He was a good man and we enjoyed many fun times together at Iowa and at then at tailgate parties over the years. He was an amazing guy and a role model for us all!

Jo and family, I´m so sorry about your loss. Jim was a wonderful family man, and friend. What a loss in the community. I always enjoyed talking to him about the Hawkeyes and kids. He was very dedicated to St. George and will be missed. May he rest in peace. Memory Eternal Kelly Sachtschale (Yuza) and family

Oh my gosh I was so sad to hear of the passing of Jim, I grew up with him ! Jim was best friends with my cousin George Hanna and it´s just too sad for words. Jim was the kindest sweetest soul and it´s just really very upsetting a life taken too Young because he sure loved life and he loved his Iowa Hawkeye games! May his beautiful wife be comforted from the joy they had together and may all of his family and friends cherish his priceless memories each and every day! this is a good man...

Although we met through work, we became friends through his generous spirit, humor and love for the hawkeyes. He will be missed by all those who met him. My condolences to his family.
