So sorry for your loss. Today is 10/10/21 and I learned this morning that my Father served with James in the 106th Cavalry Group, 121st Squadron, C Troop. He too was a radio operator and likely talked over their radios while in France. Like James, he also graduated from the Fort Knox Armored Command Radio School in 1944. I would have loved to have spent time with James as I have several hundred letters written by my father to his family back in Butte while he served in addition to a pile...
