James A. "Jimmy" Hall

James A. "Jimmy" Hall, age 80, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013. Born in Bastrop, Louisiana, he and his wife moved to Houston, Texas in 1954. He established Deco Manufacturing in 1971, and later established Deco Plastics with his wife and 3 sons in 1976. He was an avid family man who was an excellent cook, known for his brisket, duck, rabbit, fried catfish and fried oysters with hushpuppies, and his beloved popcorn balls. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Ruth Hall, sister, Allie Nell Hall, and brother, Wayne Hall. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mildred Elaine Hall; sons, John Wesley Hall and wife Beth, James Russell Hall and wife Cindy, and Darrell Wayne Hall and wife Faith; grandchildren, Jessica Fluker and husband Mike, William Bryon Phillips, Tianna Hitchens and husband Matt, Brandon Hall, Christina Hall, Aron Hall, SeLena Hall, and Cristian Montero; great-grandchildren, Riley Fluker, Sarah Timmons, Alexander Hitchens, and Evelyn Rose Hitchens; sisters, Bennie Ruth Hall, Mary Beth Adams, Elaine Taylor, and Marlene Willis; brother, Jerry O. Hall; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives, friends and business associates. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 28, 2013 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
