Was just telling my husband and sons about Dr Halsey today. I worked for him many years ago and enjoyed playing chess with him. Wish I could have thanked him before he passed.

Sooo sorry to hear about the wonderful Dr Halsey , He diagonesd me with MG in 1980 he was the only Dr that listened and helped me !! I now45 years later after being in remission I am in a severe of another autoamune desease thst had cripple me, I´m in desperate need to find another like the man thst GOD sent to me! ! Today, in New Orleans Mardigras parades are in full swing. Every year during Mardigras time, Dr Halsey used to call me and is unfortunate that he did not live more than 4 weeks to talk to us. He told me that Mardigras originated in Mobil, and New Orleans "grabbed it and ran away". He was very nice story teller. he was a good chess player.
