Always honored to have him in the sim, as my instructor. His knowledge and humor were a source of education that can never be replaced. Learned so much from the Man.. Deepest Condolences to his Family and Friends. Glad to have gotten the privilege to know him~

Margo and Maureen,My name is Jay Breslin,and I was good friends with Halti at Boston college,sad to say I last saw him at my wedding in NJ in 1973,weeks actually lived together with 6 other guys senior year1968~69 we shared a love of horseracing And I now live in Saratoga,I have been going to the track here for over 55 years,am at the track now every day,for many years I would go with Billy Evans,who played Bball with Jimmy,Billy passed away in 2023,I can´t believe we didn´t run into Halti...

Margo, please accept Lori and I deepest condolences. Jim was one of a kind, so gentle, kind and funny. I know I feel like a better person having known him. Rest in peace Jim.

A great man that I admired and tried to emulate.

My deepest condolences, prayers and thoughts are given to Jim´s wife Margo, his daughter Maureen (Casey), granddaughter, and to the extended family. Lt. Col. Halton has taken his "final flight on the wings if an eagle". For his service to the US Air Force, and to his service to the 439th AW at Westover ARB, I offer to him a slow hand salute. Dear Margo and Maureen. My deepest sympathy to you. Jim was a very pleasant man to be around. He was such a happy person. He fought this sickness with all the strength he had. Rest in peace Jim. You will be sadly missed.

One of the greatest men I have ever known. He is legend that can never be replaced. So very sorry for your loss. It is a loss for all who knew him. Clear skies tail winds my friend.
