We were supposed to meet up during Christmas break in senior year, and then I found out what happened to Jim when school started in January 1978. Jim was my tennis instructor when I was young. You could not find a better tennis coach, but more importantly a better human being. He was dedicated to his faith and lived it. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Thank you for all the tennis and life lessons Jim. I know you're with God now.

I am at a loss for words; I was a good friend and am shocked and surprised to hear of his passing. May Jim rest in the loving arms of Jesus.

I just found out yesterday, Jim, that you'd passed. I'm sad that lately we'd both put our budding friendship on hold. I'll miss seeing your smiling face and hearing your easy-going voice. Bless you and your family, and I'll look for you in the life to come.
