Not sure what to say?

I am so so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was the kindest soul and best coworker at PacifiCorp. So many laughs and jokes and shoulder to lean on when needed. Jim embodied genuine kindness. He loved his family so fiercely and would talk about them often. Rest in Paradise my friend I like to think Howard was at the pearly gates to help welcome his friend home.

Jim was a beautiful, caring, gentle man. He was loved by everyone. We were so lucky to have him as a close friend. We will always remember him and keep him in our hearts. Much love to Linda, Greg, Cheryl, Keith, Ben, Alex and Liz and Mary.

I attended Central Catholic High School and graduated in the 67 class but was with several of the junior class members in the halls and other locations so was sure that I saw and ran into James during the three years we were attending class at Central. I can only say at this time that a Hawaiian word is justified at this time. The single word has three meanings. Hello, I Love You, and Till we meet again. The Hawaiian people do not believe in say Good Bye as they believe that they will see...

I was lucky to know Jim for over 40 years as a friend, coworker, and employee. He was a pleasure to work with and a great person. I will miss him and our discussions concerning the Trail Blazers and the Kraken. He loved sports. My prayers will be with him and his family. Take care my friend as you will live on in our memories. Jerry

What a sad loss. Jim was such a super individual with a great sense of humor. I had the pleasure of working at Pacific Power with Jim for 17 years, and the fun of playing golf with him for many years after our leaving Pacific. His wonderful personality always showed through on the golf course as well as at work. So sorry. He will be missed. Larry Olson

James, my friend: RIP. I am very fortunate to work with you and know you. Your calm and collective demeanor were very impressive and got us through so many situations at NWPP. It is a great loss to all of us. Balbir and I will pray to give strength to the family to bear this loss. Memories will get us through this time. Hardev Juj
