Not sure what to say?

Mike (Mr. Hammes),
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I did not have the pleasure of ever meeting your Dad, but I heard lots of great stories about him. May your hearts be filled with lots of great memories.

Jim was a wonderful man who always had a smile on his face. He always said hello to me and made me feel important. I enjoyed speaking with him on many occasions. My condolences to Mike and Toni and the rest of the family- you are in our prayers .. Your Dad lived a long life, a blessed life as well. Jay and Pat Dolan

I was so sad to hear about Mr. Hammes. When he would come in daily to see Lucille we became friends. He would always make sure He found me to give me candy daily. After Lucille passes he still came in weekly to visit and show me current pictures of his family and the famous triplets, who he was so proud of!!(and always had "the candy").He was so proud of his whole family and was not shy about telling us about them He was the most gentle of all men.I know now he is in heaven with the loves of...

Our heartfelt sympathy to your family of the loss of someone very special. My father, Forest (Shorty) Myers was an employee of Mr Hammes for many years and held the greatest regard for him as did our entire family.God Bless You.

May your heart be filled with warm thoughts and treasured moments of your Dad. I had the pleasure of talking with him when he came to the Bank. We talked about Lou and the funny things we did together. He shared a mint.

I had such admiration for Jim and his lively spirit. He was a lovely man, who didn't let age keep him from doing the things that
mattered to him! It's not often that you have a volunteer is who
is ninety plus years, and does a great job!
