Mr. Hand's sister, Miss Dorothy Hand, was my favorite teacher. She taught me in 5th and 6th grades. I remember meeting her nephews one summer. The Hands lived across from me. I had no idea her brother was such a notable person, but I moved away in 1962. My condolences to this gifted family. Myra McCallum Terry

Condolences to the entire Hand family. For years it was Mr. Hand as far as I was concerned. Only after many visits and chats at the Northshire did it finally became natural to say hello to Jim. Getting to know him was a privilege...and a pleasure.
