Jim was a great friend and wonderful neighbor. I loved hanging out with him and talking about science, old TV westerns, politics or anything else that came up. I can't believe he's gone and will miss him terribly. My heart goes out to the entire family.

Jim was a wonderful, caring, generous, loyal friend. We will miss him, as I am sure many will. He left us all much too soon. I have many fond memories of Jim. He was one of the most honest open and intelligent people I have met. Our respect and regard for him are great. Our sympathy to his family. His good works in support of many young researchers will live on forever. Life is so fleeting. Live every day to the utmost.
