Not sure what to say?

Condolences from the Fruchterman family to the Harre family. What a remarkable coincidence that our lives would cross again some 40 years after Rota. I will keep your family in my prayers as we recall the fond memories of our fathers. Jim, let's meet for lunch and renew the old friendship.

My father-in-law was an awesome individual...Kind, gentle, dignified.... a perfect grandfather to our daughters...and a perfect example of a life well-lived. My favorite memories are of birthdays, holidays, bike rides on the C and O Canal and at Burke Lake Park....A big hole is left in our lives, yet I hope the memories will live on for us as an example of how to live a life of integrity and honor.

Mr. Harre was a kind gentleman who occasionally waited with his granddaughters at the school bus stop. He was patient with children and answered my son's many questions about serving in the military. He was the epitome of physical fitness, and an inspiration to many. We are grateful for his service to our country, and our thoughts are with Pat, Jim Jr., Susan, Lauren, Cindy, Lizzie, and Bruin.

Jim was a wonderful and inspiring person in every way. He served his country honorably, loved his family dearly and was a special friend to many people. Jay and I were so lucky to be part of his family.

Our deepest sympathy during this difficult time.

Our deepest sympathies are with you and your family. We will have you in our thoughts July l0.

Jim Harre Sr. served his country long and well, in addition to being a beloved family man. My sincere condolences go out to his family, especially to his wife Pat, Jim Jr., Susan, Lauren, Cindy and Elizabeth.
