Not sure what to say?

Dear Gene, I'm so sorry for your loss. Jim was such a special man and you were so lucky to share so many wonderful times together. Words cannot express the sorrow that is felt by his untimely passing. The two of you were such angels--so caring, so thoughtful and so friendly. It is a gift to know each of you. Jim will be missed, but not forgotten. Much love, Tracer

Gene - Jim's influence goes so far past his physical presence. It was my honor to have met him at our conferences - although brief, I knew he was special. My condolences to you and your family.

Gene. Jim was such a kind and gentle soul. He will be sadly missed.

Our deepest sympathy for the loss of Jim. We served together on the board of Tampa Aids Network and I developed a great respect for his kindness and caring. Our community is a emptier place without him.

I was saddened to hear of
Dr. Hartfield's passing. Thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. It was such sound hearing Jim sing in the choir on Sunday mornings. He was such a pleasant and kind man. We want you to know your family is in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all.

I am sad for the loss of this wonderful man, but I am thankful that I had the chance to meet and work with Jim. Very professional, warm and fun loving. Adored his "puppies" and had a "green thumb" for the beautiful orchids. Although it has been a few years since I have seen Jim, I have thought of him often. You will be missed by many Jim. My prayers to your family.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
