Arnodale Ave was the center of our neighborhood and the Hartling family was the center of Arnodale Ave. Winter, summer, spring and fall we played wiffle ball, football, basketball, made go carts and forts and looked out for each other because we had a common neighborhood bond. I cherish the memories of those days and will always remember hanging out in the neighborhood with the Hartlings and especially with my friend Jimmy. Jeff Quirk

My deepest sympathies to all of Jim's family. He was a loyal and dedicated employee for years. He responded to winter storms at all hours to ensure the properties were well maintained. He was well liked by tenants and coworkers and I considered him a friend. Ironic that I tried to leave a voicemail about ten days ago to see how he was. My memory is that Jim worked with me for about twenty years and during that time, I don't recall any harsh words about him or from him. He was always...

Many years ago, I had the pleasure of babysitting Jimmy, Ricky and Chris on Arnodale Ave, Holyoke. They were a great group of kids and always got along well with each other. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!
