Not sure what to say?

Happy birthday to the best Grandpa ever ! I love and miss you very much. Love you.

My Uncle James Harvey, was a special Man. He loved to dress and could put it together! He loved to tell me about the stories of when he was growning up and all the "stuff" he got in trouble for. He will always be in my heart and I am praying for his lovely wife Mary and his family. Love you all!

Princella Smith, Portland Oregon
Uncle James, called me "Prince".

Mr. Harvey will missed not only by his family but his community. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr.Harvey while working with his beautiful wife Mary at Selfenhancement,Inc. Be blessed in your time of sorrow

I met my friend which seems like a life time ago.(12yrs) He will be greatly missed and leave a huge hole in my heart. I can keep all his advice and words of wisdom he has helped me with my teen age boys ALOT. Mary my heart is with you.

May God bless you an your family in time
of sorrow.

At the funeral, I learned so many things about James that I didn't know. I didn't know how many young people looked to him as a role model. I didn't know about his McDonald's 'habit', or that he helped paint Immaculate Heart Church many years ago. It was a beautiful funeral. What a loss for all of us!

We had the pleasure of being Harvey and Mary's neighbors for 28 years. We watched one another's children grow up. We will certainly miss Harvey heading out early in the morning to McDonald's and returning home again only to leave shortly after for another outing. He was an inspiration to us, helping us to appreciate that age is just a number. He came to visit Snuffy even when he wasn't well himself. What a gentleman James Harvey was.

I met Mr Harvey over to his grand son house, he was very funny and a nice man. He kept us laughing. So sorry to hear of his death.
