Not sure what to say?

We lived 2 blocks apart on Main St. in Mt. Prospect, attending St. Paul Luth. grade school. He walked down to my house one day and gave me a cute little teddy bear...my first ever gift from a boy. Although we lost touch, what a kind, sweet boy he was and from all I read, grew into an amazing kind and caring man.

A 1959 Classmate of Jim

Dear family of Pastor Jim Haugen,
Jim and I were Grade School Classmates at St.Paul Lutheran, Mt.Prospect, Il. We both entered the Lutheran Pastoral Ministry, but our paths first crossed years later at St. Paul Class of '59 reunions. May God grant you the comfort of Blessed Memories and the sure hope of a joyful reunion in our eternal life! In Christ, Pastor Paul R. Koester

Our prayers are with the family and friends of Jim. He was very involved in the Lions Club as well as his church and community. He will be missed by all. May God give everyone strength, peace and comfort at this time.

Darlene and family,

It is always sad to lose someone from your past. May you be comforted at this time.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...

We are so very sorry for your loss. May God comfort you as only He can. You are in our thoughts & prayers! Phil. 1:21
Love in Christ!

To Darlene and family, take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
I only met Pastor Haugen a few times. I remember the eulogy that he delivered at my Dad's funeral. It was tailor made and appropriate for my Dad. Rest in Peace Pastor James A. Haugen Sr.
