Not sure what to say?

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

rest in peace my brother,i should have been there.always in my heart.larry

What is NOT to say about Fr. James Havens? He was much-loved at St. Dominic, and he was often seen walking the hallways of the school, as any good priest SHOULD do. He was caring, had a sweet and gentle smile for all, but on the playground, when he knelt to talk to a little one, he could be very strict with the kids who jumped on his back or neck, telling them he was their friend, but that you didn't jump or be rowdy. I witnessed this the days I had playground duty. He was a disciplinarian,...

Father Havens was one of my favorite Priest ever! I have always wondered where he was and wanted to send him a letter just to say hello. I am saddened to here of his passing . My heart and prayers are with his family. Former student St Dominic

To Family & Friends,

I send my deepest condolences during your time of great sorrow. I pray you find a sense of peace by the loving memories that you all shared. Draw close to God and he will draw to you.

Father Jim was a great priest. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. God Speed.

Father Jim was at Little Flower when I began to go to church there. He almost always had a smile on his face and a story in his pocket. He loved to talk about his father and I could identify as my dad was a career policeman as well! Blessings to your family and friends. I am sure he is up there sparing with Fr. Deasy and laughing his way along.

Fr. Jim and I sometimes squabbled like siblings and always loved one another as children of God.

May God be with Father Jim. He will be missed by many. Sympathy and condolences to family.
