James Morgan Hayes, 87 year old military veteran, went home to be with the Lord on May 30, 2016. He was surrounded by family and friends who loved him dearly. James was born in Mobile, AL to Dora and Charles Hayes. He attended school in Mobile, AL., James committed his life to Christ at an early age and attended The Most Pure Heart of Mary Church.
James M. Hayes is preceded in death by his parents, his children Otto and Jean Hayes and his sister Jean Hayes and brother Charles Hayes. He is survived by his wife Marva D. Hayes and his children Peggy Hayes (Jimmie) Bell, Roxanne Hayes, Kenneth (Alma) Hayes, Vicki Hayes, and Robyn (Andre) Windham; and he leaves a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation Friday June 3, 2016 9-11am funeral hour Christian Benevolent Funeral Home, 201 N. Hamilton St., Mobile, AL. Interment at the Catholic Cemetery.
