John and Pat, I am so sorry to know that your son Jim passed away. Although I never met Jim, I have known the two of you for several years and have visited your home several times. Your "kids" have always been a topic of conversation and I know what an important role Jim has played in your lives. Jim was a unique "one of a kind" son, brother, friend, and loving father. Underneath his somewhat gruff and intense personality, along with strong opionions about everything, he had a big heart and was a loving and loyal man to all who were close to him. Dear Heimkes family, I can't tell you how very sad I was to hear of Jim's passing. My heart breaks for you all . He lived a vibrant life and loved you Danielle and Jackie so very much.
