Not sure what to say?

Jim;

One year, Oh Gosh, where does the time go. You must have been whispering in my ear this weekend, because I logged on to my Instant Messenger, logged into your name and brought up all our archive messages to one another. I sat a read them over and over. I so miss our chats. I looked over all the pictures you sent to me. You and the girls, your new motorcycle and your new jacket etc. What a smile. Gosh you had the greatest smile and the biggest heart. I miss you and I hope...

Jim: It's been one year since you left us and I still miss you so much. I think about you every day and all the memories come flooding back, good memories of great times with my brother. Danielle and Jackie are doing fine but miss their Dad. There is so much of you in each of them it is truly amazing. The cabin isn't the same without you but I feel your presence and it is comforting. Please continue to look over us and protect us, I miss you and will always love you.

Dear Jim: Yes, I know this is not normal to address this to you and not your family or loved ones. But, it is you I knew and it is you that I will forever miss. We met just briefly, just this past March. Yet there was so much common ground we shared. Your love for Rachel and the girls, (yours and hers). How much you and Larry looked so much alike. How you loved being with Rachel out at the ranch, and how much Larry loved being here with me. Your motorcycles were exactly the same, down...

John and Pat, I am so sorry to know that your son Jim passed away. Although I never met Jim, I have known the two of you for several years and have visited your home several times. Your "kids" have always been a topic of conversation and I know what an important role Jim has played in your lives. The wonderful messages on this Guest Book tell a story of how Jim was loved and how much he will be missed. My sincere sympathy.

Where has the time gone? it seems like only yesterday we were all so young, and our only worries were friends and fun. Whether we were snowmobiling or water skiing we always managed to laugh and
enjoy each others company. With your big dog BABE at your side, you always brought such fun to the party. I will cherish the memories I have of you riding the snowmobile on the old weekend "poker runs", never just a ride, but always a race from bar to bar laughing all the time. The resort...

Danielle and Jackie,
I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. I know from seeing cards and flowers from him and all the family pictures of you (while I was cleaning the house) that your dad loved you very much. He was a very special person and will live on in your hearts forever. He will always be your daddy.

Heimkes family and friends,

Jim was a unique "one of a kind" son, brother, friend, and loving father. Underneath his somewhat gruff and intense personality, along with strong opionions about everything, he had a big heart and was a loving and loyal man to all who were close to him. Teaching friends and their children, along with nieces and nephews, to hunt and fish was especially enjoyable to Jim. Of course, they endured plenty of good natured ribbing and pranks along with many...

Dear Heimkes family, I can't tell you how very sad I was to hear of Jim's passing. My heart breaks for you all . He lived a vibrant life and loved you Danielle and Jackie so very much. He lives on through you. You beautiful girls are his legacy. I will always remember his sense of humor and smile and the love for you girls that shined in his eyes everyday. He will be deeply missed.

Jim was a very loved man. As the many memories and kind words show in this guest book. Every person that Jim reached out to, he touched their heart and soul and will live on in them. We knew Jim all to breifly, but his impact in our life was profound. Jim liked the words, Love,Honor and Protect and we should all Love Jim for the amazing,kind,loving,giving man that he was, Honor the wishes that he made known to us and Protect his memory in our hearts. Our tears of Joy from knowing him and our...
