James Augustus Henderson Jr.

Jim was a big reason that I consider my law school years as some of the best of my life. I was proud beyond belief when he asked me to be his research assistant in 1985. In my first year, he was the airplane hero which prompted the purchase of a superman shirt we gave to him at the reunion. Marcia: feel free to each out to me for more memories next time you are missing him.

I will miss his calls to say he is just touching base. I will also miss the many revisions to the numerous law review articles and his voice. He was not only the professor I was administrative assistant to but a real good friend. I have become a friend to his whole family and wish them well. He also saved several lives on an airplane going from Ithaca to Syracuse. I have always honored him for that. Jylanda Diles

Marci, Fran and I are so sad to learn that Jim has passed away. We have such wonderful memories of our times together. Fried clams at New England Seafood will never be quite the same. And I will forever be grateful for his moral support for "Sealed With a Kiss." Please let us know where you are so we can be in touch this fall.
