Was saddened to read today in the Shelby County Reporter of Mickey passing away. I have many, many, many fond memories of Mickey growing up and every one I can think of are happy and usually funny. Always willing to "cut up" with me, always smiling and a good role model to me as a boy.

Did not know about Mickey's passing until today (Monday). So sorry to hear this news. Mickey was a special person. We both graduated with Mickey from Montevallo High. May God comfort you with His love during your adjustment without him. God is our strength.

I didn't know Mickey well and it's been years since I've seen him (when Joey and Brian were teens) but he was always kind to me. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers for the family.
