Not sure what to say?

I will never forget Jim Hess. He was an amazing teacher and human being. Even years after leaving BH he always remembered me and said hi like I had seen him yesterday. The world was a better place with him in it and will always be a little less without.

I took nine courses from him while I studied at BH and I wasn´t even a psych major. What a fantastic person. My sincere condolences to his family. He was incredible.

One of the best and most life changing instructors I had at Black Hills State. I will remember him for the rest of my life. Rest in Peace and prayers for your family

My condolences to Jim´s family. I´m a cousin from his Conner family. His mother is my Aunt Rachael. I remember him when I was a kid, he was pretty important way back then too ! Many family gatherings at his home in Spearfish during the 4th of July. He lived a full life, Gods peace. Annette Davis ( Conner)

Yesterday the world lost an amazing man, father, grandfather, friend, businessman, philanthropist, and to so very many of us...one of the most amazing and compassionate educators and mentors on the planet. Not only was I privileged to have many classes with Dr. Jim Hess over the years, I later had the privilege of working with him both at Black Hills State University and later at Minitman. Just as recently as a few years ago he gave me his personal number to give me advice when I was...

I´m so sad to read of Jim´s passing,,, my heart hurts with his family and friends as they grieve his absence from this world. I hope and pray that he knew Jesus and that Jim is with Him in Heaven! He was always so friendly and nice at the Uniquities Shop in Spearfish! I will miss him as will many others who knew and loved Jim ! Rest in peace dear friend !
