Not sure what to say?

As a fellow classmate at Llewelyn and then Cleveland, I remember Jim as a kind and thoughtful young man with a quiet sense of humor. He seemed to genuinely appreciate and get along with everyone.
Several years later I had the privilege of catching up with him at a high school reunion. It was clear to me that he was still very much that uniquely kind and thoughtful person that he had always been. Just more mature and wiser.
Jim, you will be missed.
May you have found...

James, my friend, my mentor, you shall be missed. Until we meet again, God Speed my friend.

You will be missed Jim, your life was an inspiration to a lot of people.

Jim, it has been a long time since our high school days. Since then we have seen each other only a dozen times -- most recently downtown when we had a chance to catch up and talk. You made our lives better by giving so much of yourself. You were a great man and we are all better for having had you in our lives. Thank you, my friend. You will be missed but memories will be treasured.

Rest in peace, James. You will be sadly missed.

Jim was so funny and always lit up the room with his humor. He will be missed by his friends and those of us who attended "Fellowship" at Moreland Presbyterian Church. What a wonderful guy, who will be missed.

We are truly blessed to have worked along side you James.

Rest in peace.
