Not sure what to say?

Jim was head of the education center in Germany where I taught. He was a good boss and wrote a wonderful letter of recommendation for me.

Jim was my friend since 1975 in Germany. He and his wife were great folks.

Jim was one of the most gentle men I ever worked work. I knew where his gentleness came from however! He passed by example as Jesus did and as we are supposed to as followers of Jesus Christ. I miss his comradeship! Doug Messer

My condolences to the Higby family. I have such fond memories of seeing and visiting with your dad out at the softball fields each summer. It was always so evident how much he loved his family, his God, and his country and he was a blessing to all who knew him. Your family is in our prayers.

You had wonderful parents, and I have certainly missed them since they moved away from here. It was great to hear of your dad's continued testimony honoring Christ. He gave you all a great legacy. We...

Georgina, Matt, Meribeth and Charity,

It was with great sadness that I learned of your dad's passing on to be with the Lord and reunited with your mother. Although I know the two of them are so happy to be together once again, I also know how hard it is for you. I had great admiration for your father and was privileged that he shared with me some of his work in Afghanistan. I always thought he was so brave to go there during this terrible war. His commitment was absolute. I...

Your Dad and I shared many great times praying with each other and encouraging each other. Know doubt I am stunned to hear of your Dad's passing and yet in the midst of hurt and loss what wonderful assurance as he trusted how deeply he was loved by Christ. Much love to each of you.
