Not sure what to say?

Jay was a childhood computer buddy of mine who I met back in the mid '80s. I last saw him around 1996. I believe he had recently met or maybe even just had married Sherri at that time and was over the moon about her. I recall she had worked in the past in the very building my new job was starting in. I believe he was new or only a few years into the SBC job at the time as well which he loved. I tried to connect again via only contact method I had maybe 10yrs ago but the email bounced...

It's 2008 now... Lots of things have changed and some haven't...
It's been 2 years now, honey... Both your 42nd bday and the 2nd anniversary of your passing have come and gone.

Just want to let you know that I am not happy yet but at least I have come to terms with you not being here... It's better now as long as I don't dwell...
I still miss you, but I am not crying much now and I am beginning to piece my own life back together... I still wish that you could have...

March 20...
Spring comes in... as usual...
at 552 am-ish this am... my husband Jay would have been born...
He would have been just 41 today... I miss the traditions that we started... of waking him up that early so that I could sing to him, and make him breakfast...
I taught him my custom too... You always take your birthday off from work... So for him it was the first day of spring, a day off and generally just a great day of doing whatever...
His favorite cake...

Honey...

8 months came and went...
Christmas came and went...
New Years Eve... I rang in what would have been our 6th Wedding Anniversary at 1 am...without you this time... It's the first New Year's Eve/Day since 1993 that I haven't had you here... That's alot of years...

I really miss you...8 months doesn't change that...

Love goes on...

Your wife,

Shari

I did not get to meet Jay personally but, loved him and knew that he was a good soul thru my co-woker, his wife Shari. My prayers are with the family at this time.

I went to high school with Jay and remember him as quite and shy. We met up later and corresponded by email for a few years and later lost touch. I remember always looking forward to our conversations by email. I am sorry to hear he has passed and know he will be missed by all.

Jay was one of the most helpful people I worked with while I was at Two Bell Plaza on the 8th Flr. Although he was always very busy, he was there whenever I had a problem. I could count on him.

I remember when I first met Jay during his interview and then subsequently offered him a position in our company. Even though he was very quiet and reserve, you could quickly discern his knowledge of the business. Over the years I got to know him better and he would come to me when issues about his job started to mount and I treasured the moments he would let me help him in his career and subsequently get to know him better. I know his marriage was a big deal and one could see him beaming...
