Not sure what to say?

The Thin Blue Line runs strong between me and the man, Sgt. James Hoban, the person that mentored me. The day that my family buried my Father, you were working a part time job on Lorain Ave., and as my Father's funeral procession passed, you saluted my Father. Today, I salute you, your memory, and your family.

Mary & Tom - I am sorry to hear about the passing of your father. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sgt. Jim Hoban was a second Father to me from age 8. He was my mentor, and I was another son to him, as I clearly remember helping him wallpaper a room for Frances. That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...

I adored your father. He was always so happy to see me on Sunday's when I was in town. He couldn't wait to find out where I sailed my last hitch. When I told him I joined the merchant marines he told me of his sailing days & said I would do great. He thought it was a perfect fit for me.He will be truly missed by me.
