Not sure what to say?

Dear family,
It was with sorrow I read of Jim's passing. I was in the downtown Kiwanis club with Jim many years ago and we became friends. He took several of us on the sailboat he made. He was a brilliant, decent, human being. The world needs more people like Jim. You have my deepest sympathy.

Dear Mrs. Hobbs and Family -

I would like to extend my condolences to you over the loss of such a fine man.

During the early stages of building my business (in the late 70's), Mr. Hobbs was instrumental in helping me design and fabricate the stainless steel strut-skegs for my dive-boats. They were made so well that they are still in use today. Thank you, Mrs. Hobbs, for putting up with me in working in your garage while bugging him for advice.

In addition,...

Margaret & Family:

On behalf of my Mother, Pat Sansone, and our entire family we wish to send our deepest sympathy to you and the family.

You both were such good friends of Mom & Dad.
Our thoughts are with you at this very sad time.

Always;
Patricia Sansone Allen

Dear Margaret & families,

I have such fond memories of growing up with you all & doing so many things together. Mr. Hobbs always made us laugh...we never knew what to expect from him! And that never changed even when we came down years later for my high school reunions & visited with you all. What an incredible mind he had, too...so much fun to hear what he was in the process of inventing next in his garage!

Dear Margaret, Jimmy, Doug and Richard,

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Jim's passing from Peg. He was so much of an influence on me as I was growing up and such a joy to be around. I hope you are all bearing up ok. If any of you are ever around coastal Oregon, please come and visit and I will do the same when I am next in Florida.

My very best to you all,

Dear Margaret -
As a Kiwanian and friend Jim was simply the best - will miss him greatly - our thoughts & prayers are with you & the family.
