Not sure what to say?

I am just discovering that Mr. Hobbs passed to the Lord. I am so saddened to know he is no longer in this world. He shaped me into the man I am today. He was my gym teacher at Longfellow Elementary School in Cleveland, Ohio. But he was more than a gym teacher. I loved this man for the way he taught me respect, honor, commitment and how to be a man. When I left elementary school he wrote in my autograph book a page telling me to always set new goals and be a good man, among many other things...

I think of you often, another Angel gone home!!! Please say hello to my family. Let them know that we'll see you ALL soon!!!

I´m sad to hear that Mr. Hobbs passed and that I didn´t know it until much later. He was a great principal meeting daily challenges with integrity, energy, and sensitivity. He was a strong but kind man working hard to make Mary Bethune School a place where children were safe and where education was a priority. He was such a strong capable man who did so much, it´s hard to realize he is gone. May his family and friends be comforted by their memories of him. I´m sure he is doing well in...

I will never forget Mr. Hobbs. He was a wonderful example to us all. I used to tease him about being a "Foot man". We lost a jewel when God took him home. Rest in heaven my dear friend!!! We'll love you forever. To the family, I never met you all, but I want you to know that I feel your pain. Just know that he is in a better place, and if you know Jesus, you WILL see him again!!!

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you.

I miss you daddy. I come here to read comments from others when I'm feeling down. The comments make me smile to know how you impacted our family and extended family but sad that I can't hug you one last time. My love for you is endless.

I remember Mr Hobbs from William R Harper elementary as kind and thoughtful. He saw the good and truth in children I think. I am thankful I knew him - that he knew me. God bless and welcome him.

Mr. Hobbs was my 6 grade gym teacher, my children's principal, and his wife was my College Business Communications teacher. He will be greatly missed!

Our deepest sympathy to Mr.Hobbs family. Great memories being part of the Bethune Family and experiencing Mr. Hobbs leadership, goals and high standards. He inspired his teachers to be the best they could be. He will be truly missed. Mr. Vacc and Mr. Siko
