Chef Hobdy meant more to me than I think he ever knew. I started working at the Broadmoor in 1997 until 1999. I was a green, fresh from culinary school punk, and he took me under his wing. I learned more from this man, not just cooking, but integrity, work ethic and grit..I am now 52, and now an Executive Chef of a CCRC in Virginia, and haven't stopped cooking in 30+ years.
