I am Shirley Hoffman, James's first cousin. I found his obit on google search. I was trying to find some of my Hoffman relatives. I knew him as Jimmie the few times I saw him. His Father and my Father were brothers. My Father had lived in Texas since 1936 and passed away in 1949 when I was 9y/o. I have tried to find my relatives when I got a computer but this was the first time I succeded. I am sorry I didn't find him before he passed away. I would very much like to know if I have any...

Your father seems to have been a hard working man...wish I could have met him, would have loved to fish with him! For now, until we meet in the next place. . I'll take good care of the love we both share. ..the Lincoln Town car he took such good care of! !! Rest in peace Mr. James!!

I did not know him well at all. ..but truly love his daughter and my step mother Valerie Hoffman Johnson. ...I am happy to read these great things... the life and story behind the man, who made the woman ...who not only helped make my father a better man but has helped bring my immediate family so much closer...RIP Mr. Hoffman...your spirit will live on

We have know Jim over30yr Mary has been part of Jim's life.Jim never made difference in step or nature family. They were all the same. jim was a great guy.he will be missed for the auburn and bama bets. I am sorry for the lost of a great man.bubba has not taken this well.our hearts are always with yall
