Not sure what to say?

What an absolutely wonderful, brilliant and enlightened person we have lost in Jim Hoffman. He was a dear friend in high school and we shared so many great conversations...never shallow. Jim Stahl

Rest in peace, Jim

I am deeply saddened for the loss of my high school classmate Jim (EMHS Class of '81). He was brilliant, quiet, and a nice guy. May the family find peace and comfort in their time of need. Rest in peace, Jim.

RIP Jim.

I have very fond memories of the classes I shared with Jim in Elmont High School. What a really great guy he was. He was of course very intelligent but also down to earth and someone you could really share a good laugh with. Rest in peace, Jim.

I was a friend of Jim's from junior high and high school. He was a smart, decent guy and a very good friend. He will be missed.

Though we are saddened by James' death, we know that he is finally at peace in the Lord. Our memory of him will always be the person WE knew: the young "Jimmy", a young man of kindness and friendliness; a bright, energetic, and creative young man. The world is an emptier place without him. We will never forget him. Love, Uncle David and Aunt Mary Ann
